Are You Interested In Performing On Stage?
The Sugarloaf Performing Arts Performing Companies give students the training and opportunity to perform in public exhibitions, dance productions,
theatrical events, competitions and local festivals.
Performing Company Levels
We offer four performing levels for our dance and tumble companies. These levels are: Junior Company, Intermediate Company, Senior Company and Pre-Professional Company.
In addition we have a Tap Ensemble that focuses on Tap performances.
Company Requirements
Committment, Dedication and Passion are required of both parents and company members of the performing companies at Sugarloaf Performing Arts.
Committment is for a full year and includes strict attendance requirements for dance classes and company rehearsals plus
a positive attitude and good sportsmanship. If you are interested in joining one of our companies, please ask for more information in our office.
Auditions and Choreography Camp
Placement in our performing companies is decided through an audition process. Prospective members must also be available for two
weeks in early-August to attend Choreography Camp. During this time, Sugarloaf Performing Arts hires choreographers to set pieces on the company.
Would You Like To Perform A Solo Dance?
If you are a member of one of our Performing Companies, you have the opportunity of reserving private instruction time with the staff member of your choice to learn a solo dance!
Staff members may also organize duets, trios and teams with Company Members.
Only Company Members will be offered opportunities to perform individually, in duets, in trios, and in teams.
